💧Water Restrictions Lifted
September 30, 2026
With cooler weather and lower seasonal water demand, we are pleased to announce that the current water restrictions are being lifted.
We want to sincerely thank everyone who followed the restrictions and helped reduce unnecessary water use during the hotter part of the season. Those efforts made a real difference. By spreading out demand and reducing heavy watering during peak periods, our community was able to place less strain on the water system and maintain a more stable water supply for everyone.
Conservation during high-demand periods also helps protect the long-term health of our aquifer. Our groundwater supply is an incredibly valuable community resource, and responsible water use gives the aquifer and our water system a better opportunity to keep up with demand rather than being pushed unnecessarily hard.
Sleepy Hollow is fortunate to have a great water supply, and protecting it is something we all benefit from. The cooperation shown by homeowners this season demonstrates how much of an impact we can make when the community works together.
Thank you to everyone who did their part. Your cooperation helped protect our water system, preserve our aquifer, and ensure reliable water service throughout the community.
The water restrictions are now lifted, but we encourage everyone to continue using water responsibly.
